We make community service fun! Emerging Leaders help with one community service project per month make a difference not only on campus, but in the local community as well!

The Emerging Leaders are students leaders recognized all across campus! Attending the SGA awards banquet is just one way of showing our achievement.

Paws for stress is an annual event where students can come play with puppies and dogs to relieve stress before finals. Hosted by Hall Council

We send the organization on a retreat at the beginning of the year for the students to build great working relationships and practice leadership skills used throughout the semester in General Body Meetings and Programs

Before going home for the winter break, Hall Council and Emerging Leaders come together for fun games and gifts with the friends they've made in the organization

Residence Hall Council

RHC is a student organization dedicated to promoting a positive residence hall environment. As a member ofRHC, students will have the opportunity to lead residential committees, allocate funds, advocate on import issues, plan programs within the Residence Halls, run for an Executive position, attend a retreat, and make a difference on campus!!The two main goals of the RHC are as follows:To represent and advocate for the interests and concerns of residential students.To provide opportunities for students to meet and socialize by supporting and planning events for both of the First-Year Residence Halls and the campus as a whole.
Theme Communities
A Theme Community (TC) is a group of first year students who share common interests. The goal of a Theme Community is to create and extend student learning opportunities outside of the classroom that enhance their intellectual and personal growth. All of our Theme Communities are residentially-based, which means that participating students not only share like interests and participate in activities together but also live in the same residence hall.
